Jericho, N.Y. – E&I Cooperative Services (E&I), the only member-owned non-profit procurement cooperative focused exclusively on education, presented its 2023 financial and performance results during the Cooperative’s Stockholders’ Meeting held in Cedar Creek, Texas. Results of the Board of Directors election were also presented.  

Key highlights from 2023 include:

• Member purchases exceeded $3 billion.
• The Board voted to distribute $3.35 million in cash to members as patronage refunds.
• E&I’s contract portfolio grew by over 80 new contracts and now exceeds 200 contracts.

Wanda Hernandez, Executive Director of Procurement at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and this year’s Teller of Ballots announced the results of the Board of Directors election:

• Roxanne Venegas, Purchasing Manager at Joliet Junior College, was elected to the Board. Roxanne will fill the open position created by Kevin Maloney’s retirement from the Board.   
• Kim Dulaney, Executive Director of Strategic Sourcing at Radford University, was re-elected to serve her second term.
• Ron Moraski, Vice President of Procurement Services at Columbia University in the City of New York, was re-elected to serve his third term.

The Cooperative also announced the following winners of its annual Member Awards:

• David H. Lord Cooperative Purchasing Award: Robby Bounds, Executive Director, Procurement Services, Texas A&M College Station
• Growth in Member Contract Purchases: Rancho Santiago Community College District
• Growth in Member Contract Utilization: Florida A&M University
