Martin Center for the Arts is a performance and instructional facility in the Johnson City area in East Tennessee. Martin Center for the Arts encompasses three performance venues including the 1,200-seat ETSU Foundation Grand Hall, the 200-plus-seat Powell Recital Hall, and a flexible staging/seating black box performing space named the Bert C. Bach Theatre.
In the Grand and Recital halls, you will see Irwin Seating Company’s Citation model 90.12.10.4 with concealed aisle lights and foot shrouds. These Citation chairs are made from a plastic and powder coat (paint) in Charcoal Grey with maple arms and aisle inserts finished in No. 17 India Teak. These performance spaces showcase a cohesive design concept while still offering their own unique experiences.
