As the Chief Procurement Officer for Texas Tech University, Jennifer oversees strategic acquisition, contract administration, payment strategies, vendor services, p-card services, travel services, and business intelligence. She is responsible for the functions of these offices for both Texas Tech University and the Texas Tech University System.
Jennifer was a project leader for the Banner and Jaggaer implementations for the university, and she received the Distinguished Service Award from NAEP in 2016.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University and she received her Certified Texas Purchaser certificate and Certified Texas Purchasing Manager certificate from the State of Texas in 2001.

Ron Moraski is the Vice President of Procurement Services at Columbia University in the City of New York. Ron is responsible for the procure to pay process, which includes Procurement, Vendor Management, Accounts Payable and Travel.
Prior to joining Columbia, Ron directed the Procurement Services team at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. During that time, he transformed the team from transactional purchasing to strategic procurement by implementing an eProcurement suite, a digital mailroom for paper invoices, e-invoicing, and various other tools and campus wide systems.
Ron has been in Higher Education since 2012 and prior to that has over 20 years of Supply Chain Management experience with 3 major retailers.
Ron has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management Studies from Boston University.

Greg Shabram serves as the Chief Procurement Officer at the University of Oregon (UO). He leads a team responsible for all procurement and high-level contracting activity for goods and services at the University. Greg also oversees the teams responsible for operating UO’s eProcurement system “Duck Depot” as well as administrating UO’s P-Card program, disadvantaged business entity outreach, and sustainable procurement activity. In addition, Greg co-founded UO’s COVID-19 Monitoring and Assessment Program (MAP). MAP is a COVID-19 testing program that continues to offer free PCR based COVID testing to K-12 students throughout the State of Oregon and to everyone in on campus and in the wider Lane County community.
Prior to his current tenure at UO, Greg worked at Boeing Commercial Airplanes as a procurement agent leading contracting activities for various airplane systems in development and production. Previously, Greg worked as a Contracts Manager at UO and a civil litigator in private legal practice.
Greg has a JD from the University of Oregon School of Law and a BA in History and Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Archibald E. Asawa currently serves as Executive Vice President for Finance and Administration, Chief Financial Officer & Chief Investment Officer at Soka University of America. Arch joined Soka University of America in March 1998. His responsibilities include the overall management of the University’s operations, including budget, finance, endowment, enrollment management, development, marketing, facilities and landscape management, mail center, purchasing, environmental health and safety, events, contracts management, Soka Performing Arts Center, and auxiliary businesses. He currently serves as the University’s chief investment officer, managing a $1.3 billion endowment.
Arch served on the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO) Board of Directors and the Western Association of College and University Business Officers (WACUBO) Board of Directors and is a Past President of WACUBO.
Prior to joining the University, Arch worked as a management consultant for Fortune 500 corporations, universities, and public sector agencies since the 1980s. He also served as Special Advisor to the Mayor and Manager of Special Projects for the City of Los Angeles Mayor Richard J. Riordan.
Arch received his BA in Economics from Yale University and attended the doctoral program in management at UCLA’s Anderson Graduate School of Management, focusing on strategy and organization.

Bill Dillon is the retired executive vice president of the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO), having served in several positions within the organization since joining in 2004. Prior to his role at NACUBO, Bill served as Business Officer for both Carnegie Mellon and Chatham Universities, and National Vice President of Market Development for ARAMARK Higher Education. His responsibilities at Carnegie Mellon included serving as the Procurement Director for more than two years.
He has a BS degree in industrial engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and both an MPA in public and international affairs and a Ph.D. in higher education administration from the University of Pittsburgh. Over the years, Bill has taught undergraduate courses in finance and operational analysis at both Carnegie Mellon and Chatham University and in the MBA program at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Bill has published articles related to a wide range of educational issues in NACUBO’s Business Officer magazine and other professional journals and has been a speaker at the annual meetings of the Council of Independent Colleges, both the National and Eastern Association of College and University Business Officers, the Association of Sustainability in Higher Education, the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators, the Association of College Unions International, the Business Management Institute and the University Risk Managers International Association.

Kim joined Radford University as Executive Director of Strategic Sourcing in 2019 where she is Chief Procurement Officer for the University. Her team is consistently seeking out strategic opportunities to enhance the way Radford University does business by streamlining processes and implementing cost saving strategies.
Prior to joining Radford, she was at Virginia Tech as the Assistant Director and Contracts Manager, a position she held for 10 years. In this position she provided oversight of existing campus contracts and negotiated substantial term contracts for university use.
In December 1999, she started her career in Higher Education via an opportunity at the University of Indianapolis, a mid-size, private higher-education environment. Starting as an Administrative Assistant to the Vice President, she learned the nuances of higher education and obtained her degree as an adult learner. Upon graduation, she was promoted to the position of Director of Procurement and established a Procurement Department where none existed.

Loren Malm serves as the Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer for Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. He oversees and provides strategic leadership for the units and divisions within the Office of Information Technology, and works with the President, Board of Trustees, and the President’s Cabinet to provide leadership for the strategic use of Information Technology across all university units. Loren oversees the overall design and management of budgets and staffing for Information Technology and sets technology strategy for the institution.
In conjunction with his current role, Loren serves as part of several regional and national organizations. He serves on the Internet2 NET+ Advisory Group helping to shape the NET+ program within Internet2. Additionally, he is a member of the Association of College and University Policy Administrators (ACUPA) and a regional member of InfraGard, a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and businesses, academic institutions, state and, local law enforcement agencies. Loren also serves on the steering committee of the EDUCAUSE Licensing Group as well as in a range of capacities for other EDUCAUSE working groups.

Randall Moore is the Associate Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer of Boston University (BU). His team of 25 professionals performs category and supplier management for BU’s $900 million addressable spend, oversees the processing of 80,000 supplier purchase orders, and negotiates 1,000 supplier contracts annually. The team recently implemented the full suite of SAP Ariba and now offers a truly paperless P2P environment for BU’s 3,000 shoppers and 7,000 suppliers.
Before joining BU in 2017, Randall served as a procurement strategy consultant with Accenture, serving clients in all industries globally. He began his career performing various supply chain-related roles for Häagen-Dazs and Frito-Lay.

Nimish Patel, is the retired Associate VP Procurement and CPO at Rutgers. He was responsible for establishing the vision, mission, and strategy for a world-class procure-to-pay function and ensuring unsurpassed customer service practices and systems were implemented and maintained to support the needs of the various missions and operating units of Rutgers University.
He has more than 25 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in global strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and process improvement. Prior to his role at Rutgers, Nimish was the Head of Procurement Excellence at Mylan Pharmaceuticals, where he was accountable for the corporate-wide transformation of sourcing processes, deployment of enabling technologies/systems, and continuous improvement of the procurement organization. He created a Center of Excellence, which established procurement metrics, scorecards, governance standards and methodologies, learning and development programs, and knowledge repositories.
Nimish has held procurement and process engineering positions at Hoffmann-La Roche, Cephalon, and Teva Pharmaceuticals. In these roles, he built, transformed, and led global organizations that were responsible for all aspects of enterprise-wide procurement services. Nimish is a Rutgers alumnus, having earned his Masters of Science in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from the University. He earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of East London.

Tally Thrasher, C.P.M., MSSM, is the Chief Procurement Officer at the University of Michigan, where she is responsible for all procurement operations, including strategic sourcing, their procure-to-pay platform, contract administration, procurement systems and software modules, their T&E and p-card programs, and several auxiliary operational services.
During her prior role as Executive Director of Purchasing Services at Indiana University, she led a team of 45 individuals that supported all sourcing, contracting, and procurement related initiatives for 9 campuses, totaling approximately $700M in spend annually. Tally started her career at IU in 2003 at the IUPUI campus managing procurement activities for multiple categories. In 2013, she was promoted to Director of Purchasing Administration and then to Executive Director in December of 2018.
In 1998, Tally completed her Bachelor of Science in HR and Management through Kelley - IUPUI and her C.P.M. certification in 2007. She is pursuing her M.S. in Strategic Management through the Kelley Direct Program with completion in February of 2023. Currently, she holds the title(s) of Indiana University alumni, staff, student, and mom.
