The University Sleep contract offers an extensive product line of residence hall mattresses to address a range of needs, including mattress and pillow covers. Easy to clean, anti-allergen, and bed bug and dust mite resistant, all mattresses are certified to pass the most stringent state and federal burn tests.
University Sleep has been the pioneer in residence hall mattress technology, durability, and safety since 1905. Developed by an MIT-trained engineer and manufactured in Elgin, Illinois, their products set the standard for quality on all specifications in the industry. University Sleep mattresses combine the finest materials, sleep research expertise, and state-of-the-art manufacturing technology to give your students a comfortable bed that lasts longer and stays clean from the inside out.
University Sleep has a very low carbon footprint due to most materials being made in the United States – in fact, most are from locally-owned businesses. University Sleep also uses common carriers to deliver all mattresses and can ship multiple mattresses in one box truck. In the event an institution needs old mattresses removed and hauled away, University Sleep prefers to donate them to a local charity. If this is not possible, the company will take the mattresses to a recycling center.

Sharing of contract documentation outside the membership of the Cooperative is detrimental to its members and the Cooperative, as it impacts E&I’s ability to negotiate and maintain competitive agreements.

For mattresses FOB. destination, freight prepaid and allowed for orders over 15 pieces. All shipments less than 15 pieces are FOB destination with freight added to invoice. Practical Bed Base all shipments less than 300 pieces are FOB. Destination with freight added to the invoice.
